Why Tomorrow exists
Most health checks create results, not answers. We know which tests matter, and what they really mean. Our ambition is to prevent people from becoming patients.
Tomorrow was created from a conviction that private screening should provide useful, clinically meaningful information. A long list of tests does not automatically produce a better understanding of health. Results need context, specialist interpretation and a practical route to action. That philosophy is rooted in the clinical and scientific expertise of its founders: Dr Adam Haque, Professor Charles McCollum and Richard Pole. Adam, a vascular surgeon and internationally recognised expert in cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), completed his PhD under Professor McCollum, Professor of Vascular Surgery and one of the world's leading cardiovascular researchers. Their research demonstrated how exercise testing could predict survival and help improve outcomes in patients with vascular disease — expertise that now underpins Tomorrow's comprehensive Health Checks. Professor McCollum and Richard Pole, one of the UK's leading vascular scientists and a previous winner of the Anne Donald Vascular Scientist of the Year award, also founded Independent Vascular Services over 25 years ago. Now Tomorrow Cardiovascular Services, it is an established provider of specialist cardiovascular imaging to the NHS. Together, they bring decades of world-class research, clinical and diagnostic expertise to Tomorrow, united by one ambition: to prevent people from becoming patients.
Our Health Checks aren't simply built around tests we believe in, but tests we've spent our careers using, researching and understanding. The principles behind every check
- Use tests because the information matters and can inform a decision.
- Interpret findings together, with your history, goals and circumstances.
- Give clear explanations and a personal plan.
- Support lasting change and track progress over time.
- Combine medical credibility with an approachable, optimistic experience.
